Take That are a boy band that originated in Manchester, England in 1990 consisting of Gary Barlow, Robbie Williams, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald. Between the band's first single release (" Do What U Like/ Promises") in 1991 and their cataclysmic breakup in 1996 when Robbie Williamsleft the band to pursue a solo carreer in 1995, the BBC described Take That as "the most successful British band since the Beatles, beloved of young and old alike". Take That's dance-pop tunes and soulful ballads dominated the British charts in the first half of the 1990s, spawning two of the best selling albums of the decade with ' Everything Changes' 1993 and ' Take That: Greatest Hits' 1996, and according to the AMG Music Guides, "at this time were giant superstars in Europe with the main question about them not being about whether they could get a hit single, but how many and which would make it to number one". The band reformed with the exception of Robbie Williamsin 2006 and released their first new single in 10 years: " Patience". Following the success of Patiencethey released the album " Beautiful World" which topped sales in 2006 & sold more then the current release by Robbie Williams! Take That have announced a European Tour in 2007.

Deceit and lies, is all Ive taken
Let me surface to breath
No sacrifice, no inspiration
Can you understand me?
Why should I ask you,
Why should I worry?
You never worry about me
Why should I ned you,
Why dont I let you go?
And let my heartaches run free
I thought I knew the meaning of life
Now Im asking you why
I thought I knew the meaning of life
Now open wide
Whats on my mind, so many questions
Though the answers I can guess
You slip away shelter from confrontation
Look my life is such a mess
I thought I knew the meaning of life
Now Im asking you why
I thought I knew the meaning of life
Now open wide
